Materials Required
Soles: 20mts (21yds) of worsted (aran) yarn – I used Rowan purl wool worsted, 100% wool.
Uppers and Headband: approx 150mts (155yds) UK 4ply (US fingering yarn), worked with a double strand.
-I used 1 x ball of Rowan Super fine Merino 4ply (100% wool) shade 00266.
-The gold version was made using Twilley’s Washable Goldfingering, (80% viscose, 20% metallised polyester) – 2skeins are required.
1 x 3.5mm crochet hook (US size E/4), or size needed to obtain correct gauge.
4” of 1cm (1/2”) elastic.
1 x tapestry needle.
