I made this hat up out of 100% cotton for my grandson who always seems to be in blue or brown.

It works up quickly in half double crochet and the loops in the top as well as the Brick Stitch along the bottom are completely optional.

It isn’t necessary to use cotton, any worsted weight yarn should work fine, I just wanted something a little more breathable since Easter is so late this year.
