These directions are for the HugKnit Chick + a bonus tutorial for picking up the stitches for the Chick. The blanket portion is knit flat in garter stitch for great tactile stimulation, chick is knit in the round. Uses worsted weight yarn (make sure its washable); 200 yds Grass Green worsted weight, 100 yds Yellow worsted weight, 1 yd each of orange and brown. 2 yds waste yarn. Uses in the round knitting, Kitchener stitch, french knots and lazy daisy stitch. Easy peasie stuff for intermediate knitter. If you run into trouble, pattern support is always just an email away.
