Baby Cocoon
A very quick practical knit that keeps baby warm, snug & secure in the first few months of life. The button down the front makes it easy to access baby.
Size is for newborn however can be easily made longer to accommodate a older or longer baby by adding an extra repetition of stitches to increase length as suggested in pattern.

Knitted in 10ply on 4.5mm needles
Newborn: 5 Balls of DMC Woolly 5 or alternate (400m), 5 buttons
3mths or long newborn: 6 Balls (480m) - 6 buttons
