This baby shoe is a very simple knit. It is knitted on two needles, and in one-piece, with just one short seam to sew up. You can knit it in any doubleknit wool, and either in one or two shades.

I don’t think you will be able to knit just one pair of shoes. They are a bit compulsive. They would make a really charming gift for any newborn.

The pattern comes in two sizes, 0-3 months, and 3-6 months. Instructions for both these sizes are in this one pattern, but written out separately, as I find patterns with brackets a bit confusing.

The shoes in my samples are decorated with embroidery. The pattern tells you where to find photo tutorials for all the stitches you might need to embroider on your shoes on my blog.

You will need approx 20g of wool for a pair of the small shoes, and 25g for the larger ones.
