Cute chevron style doll/baby blanket. Great way to practice double crochet stitch and you get a cute blanket in the process.

This was made using Lion Brand Yarn Ice Cream. The colors are Grape and Mint.

The finished blanket is 20 inches high by 19 inches wide. Each ‘chevron’ is about 2 1/2 inches wide (2.62). The height of each row is about 1/2 an inch (.59). The edging adds 1/2 inch on each side.

To make this a 34 inch by 30 inch baby blanket you would need to make approximately 11 chevrons wide and 56 rows high and the edging will add 1/2 inch on each of the 4 sides. I believe you would not need additional skeins since this pattern already calls for 2 colors.
