Baby Duck Easter Beanie
Meet Chucky Ducky Baby, the fluffiest little duckling you’ll ever crochet. This US TERMINOLOGY duck beanie is worked top down in a continuous spiral using plush teddy yarn to create a soft, fluffy hat with kawaii eyes, cheek blush, a cute orange bill, and a tiny tuft on top. Stitch count suggestions are included for sizing, but because yarn and tension vary, you may still need to try the hat on as you work to ensure the best fit. There is guidance on how to do this in the pattern.
Materials
Less than 150g of weight 6 teddy or plush yarn is needed for the hat. Suitable examples include Premier Bunny, Premier Parfait Chunky, Yarn Bee Truly Teddy, Hobbii Honey Bunny, Hobbii Baby Snuggle, and Loops & Threads Sweet Snuggles. If you do not have access to these specific yarns, you can substitute another weight 6 plush or chenille-style yarn. The pattern also explains how to adjust the increases to help achieve the correct fit.
You will also need small amounts of worsted weight yarn for the eyes, bill, and blush, along with a 6 mm hook, 4 mm hook, darning needle, scissors, and a tape measure or scrap yarn for measuring.
Important
This listing is for a digital crochet pattern (PDF download), not a finished hat.
