This pattern comes with both the graph and written row by row directions. It uses Single crochet and is done from bottom to top. It is approximately 35in by 40in, so it is toddler sized. I used a G crochet hook but I crochet a tad large so an H hook should be perfect. It has 6 different colors. All but 1 uses less than a skein of yarn. I would suggest 1.5 skeins of the background color, just in case.
