Baby Overalls (Top-Down)
These baby overalls are very stretchy thanks to the all-over ribbing. The rib stitch may take a bit longer to knit, but it gives the fabric comfort, flexibility, and room to grow. Worked from the top down, the design allows you to easily add length to the legs as your baby grows.

Size
Fits most babies from 6–12 months (approx. EU size 80).

Materials
Yarn: Kartopu AK-soft or any comparable DK yarn suitable for 5 mm (US 8) needles, 2 skeins (approx. 350 yards / 320 meters).
Note: Choose a yarn that is typically knit on 5 mm (US 8) needles, even though this pattern uses 4 mm (US 6) needles. This ensures a dense enough fabric, even when stretched.

Needles: 4 mm (US 6) circular needles, or size needed to match gauge
Optional: 4 mm (US 6) DPNs for working legs
Three stitch holders or scrap yarn
Two buttons, diameter 2 cm
