A friend is unexpectedly becoming a father again. So, I’m quickly knitting a kimono sweater for little Kiara from my stash of yarn. To make the effort worthwhile, I made the sweater in size 86, so it will fit the child, born in August, in her second fall. The piece also has the child’s name on the front, making the gift truly personal.

Ein Freund wird unerwartet noch einmal Vater. Daher wird schnell aus dem Garnvorrat ein Kimono-Pullover für die kleine Kiara gestrickt. Damit sich die Mühe lohnt, habe ich den Sweater in Größe 86 gearbeitet, so dass es für das im August geborene Kind im zweiten Herbst passen wird. Die Arbeit erhält zudem vorne den Namen des Kindes, so dass das Geschenk wirklich ganz persönlich ist.
