Baby Norbert is the second pattern in The Philosopher’s Stone Sock Club. It was completely inspired by Hagrid. Most people, (including characters in the book) consider the idea of having a dragon as a pet, absolutely mad! Yet, burns and scratches aside, Hagrid continues to dote upon him. I’m sure many pet owners can empathise; how many accidental scratches have we suffered from our furry family members? Pets, no matter if we pretend otherwise, are members of our family.

With different textures mimicking dragon scales, and a cute picot cuff for “Baby” Norbert; this pattern uses simple knit and purl stitches to create an easy but interesting knit.
