This pattern for for a baby octopus. Perfect size for those tiny fingers to hold onto. It can be for preemies and up.

You can use any yarn or hook you desire. I used a G/4mm hook with WW4 100% cotton yarn. There is no gauge for this little one. I consider this to be an easy pattern.

Stitches used are - mr, sc, inc, dec, ch, FLO, BLO

She/He works up fairly quickly, uses minimal stuffing.
Worked from the top down and all in one piece so there is no sewing required, other than weaving in your ending tail and adding the facial features.

if you want fuller, thicker tentacles, you can always work more sc in the tentacle ch spaces

Be sure to link your project to the pattern. I may choose your image to feature on my page.
