This sweater is worked top down in the round starting with an eyelet cable rib. Every other rib is continued onto the yoke. The yoke is circular and created by inc 1 st in 8 (evenly distributed) places on every other row. Because of the placement of the inc, the continued eyelet cables curve slightly to one side. The result resembles the arms of an octopus - hence the name Baby Octopus. The body and the sleeves are worked in stockinette with an eyelet cable rib at the bottom.

Worked on size 3,5 or 4 mm (U.S. 4 or 6) needles (or size to obtain gauge), 40 and 60 (16 and 24 inches) cm using between 150-200 grams/375-500 yards of yarn depending on chosen size.

Sizes 1-3 months, 6-9 months, 12-18 months.

Pattern in English and Danish.
