Leg Bands
Right leg: With #1 circular needles, pick up and knit 7 sts along side edge of flap, 62 around leg opening, 8 along second side edge of flap. 77 sts picked up.

Work ribbing as for right buttonband.

Left leg: work as for right leg.

Finishing
Weave in ends.
Sew lower edge of buttonbands to CO sts at base of bands.
Sew buttons onto left buttonband.

Sew snaps along lower leg opening as shown in photo.
