Baby Owl Karel is part of Project Arctic. In Project Arctic I crochet different animals that live on or around the poles. They may live on the ice, in the air or in the water. What makes those animals special, is that many of them have a very different appearance when they’re young compared to when they are grown up. And that is very nice to crochet!

The chicks start out grey for camouflage while still in the nest, but when they grow up, the adult males are mostly white with some dark colouring on the wings.

Size
The owl is about 8 cm high and 7 cm wide.
