Baby Waves Ripple Blanket
PATTERN CURRENTLY IN TESTING
The Baby Waves Ripple Blanket is a large baby blanket, which can be made larger, using ripples throughout the body for a lovely defined texture and waves of different reef inspired colours running through it. The border is made up of 3 rounds using basic crochet stitches, giving it a simple, crisp edging. I’ve used Yarnsmiths Pebble Haze Aran for the beautiful range of colours and tones and the soft cloud-like texture. The finished blanket is 35” x 37”.
The 22 page pattern is available in US and UK terminology - both versions will be available for you to download. It is clear to follow with detailed instructions and lots of pictures to help you make your blanket.
Skill Level: Beginner/Intermediate: the body of the blanket uses a chain to start, rows and basic stitches, the border uses basic stitches and is straightforward; there are colour changes throughout the blanket.
The following stitches/techniques are used in this pattern:
US Terminology - chain, slip stitch, single crochet, half double crochet, double crochet, increase, sc2tog, back loop only
UK Terminology - chain, slip stitch, double crochet, half treble crochet, treble crochet, increase, dc2tog, back loop only
