This design combines simple lines and an easy lace pattern (eyelet rib). The dress is constructed from the skirt up, with the lace pattern in the round. The bodice is done in a garter stitch, with front and back worked separately. The Babykins Dress makes a lovely baby shower gift or special occasion dress for a toddler. You may choose from a variety of washable wool yarns, cottons or blends. The dress will be worn most naturally in Spring or Fall, as is - but can also be used as a jumper over a t-shirt or blouse.
