Vintage pattern (undated) for baby’s first frock, vest (looks like little short-sleeved undershirt) and pilch (like a soaker). Suggests yarn no longer available, but says it is a 3-ply baby wool about 219 yds to the ounce, and 4 ounces are needed to make all 3 pieces. The frock has a close-fitting neckline, long sleeves, and buttons up the bodice back. One size is given, looks to be 0-6 months, depending on size of baby, yarn, and needles. Pattern states Birth to 9 months. Frock measurement from shoulder to lower edge is 16”. Chest measurement is 20”. Sleeve seams are 6.5”. Vest measures 10” from shoulder to lower edge, and chest measurement is 16”. Vest sleeve seams are 2” long. Pilch measures 8” from top to lower edge.

Needles are given in old British measurements, but it’s easy to find conversion charts online. Size 6 and 2 US needles are what is used for frock.
