No nonsense with a touch of sass, Bacall is the newest addition to my shawl collection celebrating the glamorous film stars of the past. This big, plus-size-friendly wrap is perfect for all seasons. It consists of an easy mesh pattern that uses chains, double, treble, and half double crochet stitches. It works up quickly in one, two, or three colors of fingering or sock weight yarn.

Size is easily adjusted. The pink and oatmeal shawl was done in three shades of Shalimar Paulie. The red shawl was completed in a single shade of Cascade Heritage sock yarn.

Pattern includes written instruction and charts. Us terminology

Materials:
750 yds of Shalimar Paulie, Shalimar Breathless, or similar fingering weight or sock yarn. (10% was added to yardage needed to allow for tension differences.) Multi-color shawl used Paulie: 400 yards of Oatmeal, 175 yds Mrs. Potts, and 175 yds of Petal.
5.0 (H) hook

Size: 76” wingspan x 37” deep blocked, and 60” x 29” unblocked.

Note: For best results, finished shawl should be blocked to open stitches. Wool blend yarns block out larger than acrylic yarns. Adjust hook accordingly
