The Bacchus Scarf is a simple knit with easier-to-handle-than-lace-weight yarn. It’s made in DK-weight Debbie Bliss Pure Silk, allowing the stitches to become the shining focal point of its rectangular shape and straightforward angles. A great design for beginners, its pattern is a fantastic way to learn to “read” your knitting and practice with charts.

While this is knit in silk, giving it great drape, it also makes it heavy, so you might desire to make it in a wool- or alpaca-blend, instead, to lend it more body and help it to hold its shape.
