Gauge isn't important for this project, but getting a tight stitch is to hold in the stuffing.

Happy Movember to everyone! I designed this pattern with inspiration from a little community of streamers on Twitch. These guys have been home growing their mustaches to raise money for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and to help them out and say thanks, I started knitting these ‘staches for my pals. I decided to write up the pattern in case anyone else wants to knit along!

A quick, advanced-beginner knit, this pattern is knit in two parts from the center with a provisional cast on. Half the mustache is knit, then stitches are picked up from the cast on edge and the other half is knit the same way, keeping things symmetrical. Before binding off, there are instructions and photos for how to stuff your mustache. Notes are included for knitting in multiple yarn weights, so gauge is not as important as being able to create a tight enough stitch to keep the stuffing from poking through. Skills needed include: knitting in the round, k2tog, ssk, kfb.
