A super quick bulky project with a bit of pizzazz! Spring and summer always mean bright colors are coming, and this sample represents all things bright. However, knit up in jewel tones this pontini would make a great fall piece for keeping the chill off your shoulders when the temperatures start to dip. Slip stitches in the lower half provide texture and horizontal movement while corrugated ribbing on the top half give vertical stripes that highlight the face.

Throw this on over an everyday t-shirt and jeans and leave the house looking put together and fun but layer it over a dress or blouse with slacks and you’ve got a dressier look for an evening out.

Pattern Notes:
-This is a checkbox pattern, with a place to check off every row that you knit in the main panel.
-Both sizes can be made with less than 4 skeins of approximately 100 yards each.
-Pontini is worked entirely in the round on large needles and chunky yarn, so works up in a flash and would make a last minute quick gift for a friend or family member.
