THE BADACHRO BEANIE is worked up in continuous rounds from start to finish using chunky (bulky) weight 2-ply yarn and a 6mm hook. Its raised texture is created with front post and puff stitches.
Something easy and fun to make which will keep you warm this cold season.
This design is inspired by memories of visiting the small fishing village of Badachro in the Scottish Highlands, going for a stroll around the harbour before turning in to have dinner in the best kind of company at Badachro Inn, good food, an open fire and a dram of whiskey… all the things which keep you warm inside and out.

The width of the beanie is determined by starting with a multiple of 4sts minus 1st. You can change the width of the beanie by starting with more or with less sts.

There is also an option to adjust the height of the beanie.
