Baggy Ponytail Hat
by Jan Toth
This hat was designed because I hate wearing hats…yes, you heard it here. I just get too hot with all my hair stuck in a hat…so I made a ponytail hat that takes a chunk of that heat off my head but keeps the rest of my head and ears warm.
Put the hat on, pull the ponytail through and draw up the drawstring. Ready to rock and roll!
Hat is knit on a size 6 US needle with DK yarn. I chose Jody Long’s new CIAO yarn because of the unique twist of this yarn. It is exquisite from beginning to end. Each ball is approximately 115 yds so it takes about 2.5 balls.
Stripe it up or make it all one color…you can’t go wrong with this hat.
