If you have a stash of coloured yarn to utilise, you will love making these brightly coloured drawstring bags. They are fun to design and quick to knit. Ideal for hanging on the Christmas tree, gifts at children’s parties and very popular at craft fairs and bazaars. Santa, the snowman, robin and teddy bear are all knitted separately and stitched to a bag of your choice. There are 3 sizes of bag for you to knit

Large bag - 13cm x 11cm (5in x 4.5in).
Medium bag - 12cm x 10cm (4.5in x 4in).
Small bag - 9.5cm x 7cm (3.75in x 2.75in)

NEEDLES: All knitting is done on straight needles 4mm and 2.75mm (US size 6 and size 2).

YARN: DK (double knitting) yarn. (USA - light-worsted/Australia - 8 ply).

SKILLS REQUIRED: Cast on, cast off, knit, purl, increase, decrease.

PATTERN: This is a very easy to follow 12 page pattern. All rows are numbered and there are plenty of pictures and step by step instructions to guide you.
