Ba’ku is a top down, circular yoke sweater inspired by a frosted glass vase I received many years ago from a dear friend. The yoke is knit in your contrast color, and the colorwork is completed in your main color, to help maximize yarn usage. This lovely sample is knit in a scrumptious silk blend from another dear friend, Robin of Loved Ones Yarn.
It is named for a fictitious people from my favorite science fiction franchise. The Ba’ku were a culture that had rejected technology and reverted to a simpler existence. Their community consists of many artisans who create beautiful handmade items. This bold geometric pattern reminds me of their woven tapestries, but with soft edges achieved by working with natural materials.

I have implemented a Pay What Works model for all of my patterns. The full price reflects how much work goes into each of my patterns. All of my patterns are tech edited and test knit. I know not everyone can afford to pay full price, so I have created 3 coupon codes to help:

KnitLL15 - 15% off KnitLL30 - 30% off KnitLL50 - 50% off

I hope that those of you who can afford to pay full price will, but if you can’t please use the code that works best for you. If you are interested in sponsoring patterns for other knitters, please send me a message!
