Balaclava Kids is a perfect accessory that will keep your kids warm during cold days. Balaclava consists of 2 layers and is worked in one piece. The only time you will have to use a tapestry needle is to graft live stitches of face openings of the inner and outer parts.

The pattern includes step by step instructions, as well as detailed schematics, that can be used for quick reference and understanding the knitting process.

Knitting skills: basic knitting skills, working in the round, provisional cast-on (waste yarn method), German short row technique, Kitchener stitch.

Construction:
Balaclava is seamless and worked in the round. First you make the outer balaclava, then the inner one. You begin to work from the neck with the provisional cast-on, then you shape the face opening and forehead, then decrease stitches for the crown. After that you remove provisional cast-on, place live stitches on working needles and knit the inner part in the same way.
