This pattern was inspired by the many Balsam Poplar trees that dot the landscape in Calgary and surrounding areas. These trees grow quickly and easily, just like the pattern in this in-the-round knit neckwarmer-style cowl. There are two rounds of the leaf pattern and two rounds of peacock ripple, interspersed with garter rows.
