Deceptively easy and quick to knit, this shawl offers even the beginner knitter an opportunity to “wow them!” Pattern is fully adjustable allowing you to knit up a quick kerchief for chilly early morning walks with the dogs, or a full blown wrap for long walks in autumn’s painted glory.

Finished Measurements and Yarn Requirements will vary based on your yarn & needle selection as well as chosen number of Body Chart repeats. As a general guide I offer the following:

Finished Measurement:
Smaller (8 repeats of body chart) - Width: 40” Length at Center, Back: 20”
Larger (10 repeats of body chart) - Width: 52” Length at Center, Back: 26”

Yarn Requirements:
Smaller (8 repeats of body chart) – Approximately 230 yards of worsted weight yarn. (2 skeins)
Larger (10 repeats of body chart) - Approximately 320 yards of worsted weight yarn. (2 skeins)

Recommended Needles:
Size 8 (5mm) 32” or longer circular needle

Supplies:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.
Row counter and stitch markers may be helpful.

Gauge:
Approximately 15 sts = 4” (10 cm) in lace pattern, after blocking, however, gauge is flexible and can be adjusted to your personal preference and yarn/needle selection for this project. Bear in mind that yardage needs will differ.
