There is no place like home, and after a long journey, there’s nothing quite like the warm glow of a porch light to welcome you into the open arms of family and sanctuary.

Finished Measurement:

Recommended Needles:
Size 4 (3.5mm) 40” circular or size required to get gauge. Please note – gauge is flexible, but yardage will vary.

Supplies:
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends, 6 stitch markers, and a row counter may be helpful.

Gauge:
Approximately 20 sts / 40 rows = 4” (10 cm) stockinette blocked.

Notes: The shawl is knit top down. The majority is a very simple stockinette with basic eyelet lace. The lace sections are presented both charted and written out so that you can work from your preferred method. A picot bind off adds a decorative edge. Stitch counts are given for every increase row for your convenience. I’ve also included checkboxes to assist you in keeping track of completed rows.
