This is a light and airy summer sweater with a feminine neckline and a casual rounded bottom. It is made from a shiny and flowing silk yarn, casually comfortable and elegant at the same time.
It is knitted seamlessly from top down.
First the rounded neckline is worked using short rows while simultaneously creating the raglan lines with increases.
You put sleeve stitches on rest and work body first, starting with block stripes in contrast color.
Short row shaping for the rounded bottom gives a casual finish. (The pattern also includes instructions for knitting a straight hem). Sleeve stitches are picked up after knitting the body and worked top down in the round. Last step is knitting the neck finishing which will turn the neckline into a nice shape.

This pattern is basically written for DyeForYarn Papersilk.
As the pattern also is suitable for other lace yarns, wich may differ in row gauge, the pattern also includes notes how to adjust to different row gauges.
You may check project notes of existing projects as well.
