This mitt pattern was designed by Sarah Vance for Knitty Stash to make use of the left over yarn from the Balto Headband (also designed by Sarah. She is amazing!)

If you are stash diving you will need at least 100 to 150 yds of the main color, in this case the brown. The variegated yarn requires about 100 yds or a bit less.

It requires DPNs in sz 5 and 6 US.

This pattern fits a small to average woman’s hand 7.5”

Larger needles will loosen the weave and make them a bit larger.
