Bambi the Ballerina
This pattern is part of the Arty Crafty Alice Doll Collection.
Bambi the Ballerina includes the Arty Crafty Alice doll pattern and hair application tutorial, as well as a pattern for a dress, and underskirt. The finished doll sits at approximately 7 inches tall.
This pattern is suitable for experienced intermediate knitting ability, assuming an understanding of basic stitches and common knitting terms. This pattern will require the following skills;
Cast on, Knit, Purl, Knit front and back increase, Knit two together decrease, cast off in the middle of a row, and basic sewing skills.
It has been completed using the following recommended yarns:
- King Cole Pricewise DK in 149 Blush (Head, Body, Arms)
- King Cole Pricewise DK in 55 Gold (Hair)
- King Cole Pricewise DK in 40 Fondant (Dress/Shoes) SCRAPS
- King Cole pricewise DK in 3285 Baby Peach (Cheeks) approx. 12 inches

All pieces are knitting flat on straight needles and have been seamed using a mattress stitch. The cast on method that has been used for this pattern is the long tail cast on.
