A handsome knitted v-neck vest is ideal for whenever your baby needs to look picture perfect.

Create your own, snap a picture, and share using #ACMooreInspired.

Use a gauge of 21 sts and 28 rows = 4” in St st to knit a vest that measures 20’’ (22’’, 24’’, 25’’) finished chest and 9’’ (10’’, 11’’, 12 1/2’’) finished length. This roughly corresponds with 6 (9, 12, and 24) months. When you match the gauge in a pattern, your project will be the size specified in the pattern and the materials specified in the pattern will be sufficient. The needle or hook size called for in the pattern is based on what the designer used, but it is not unusual for gauge to vary from person to person. If it takes you fewer stitches and rows to make your swatch, try using a smaller size hook or needles; if more stitches and rows, try a larger size hook or needles.

The instructions are written for 6 month size. If changes are necessary for larger sizes, the instructions will be written thus ( ). When only one number is given, it applies to all sizes.
