It’s Spinoodler Designs’ first birthday! To celebrate, I’m running a 2-for-1 promotion until 30 September. Just PM me a screenshot of your donation to a BLM organisation and I’ll send you the code in return.

In an effort to make this pattern financially accessible, I have listed it as the price that factors in my labour and I have included codes if this is not feasible for you.

NO CODE: £5

BANANAS1: £4

BANANAS2: £3

Bananas hold a special place in my heart. I associate them with my father, a Filipino immigrant who loves to eat fruit with his meal. Mangoes being too expensive for daily consumption in Canada, he has been using bananas to continue this tradition for over 40 years. I wanted to design these fun and colourful socks to pay homage to his playful nature.
These socks are knit top-down with an afterthought heel. They are designed to have are relaxed fit with a tighter cuff, heel, and toe. These bananas are yellow, but I am looking forward to seeing your psychedelic and monochromatic creations!

The tension swatch is knitted with the Banana Chart in the round.
