Wrap yourself in a double-breasted jacket, worked in one seamless piece. Begin at one front, work your way around to the other, then pick up and work the sleeves. This sideways construction allows the lace, textured, and contrasting sections to be worked as horizontal bands, becoming vertical panels when turned on the side.
