Why should crocheters have all the fun? Here is a knit version of my crocheted cloth.

Doing dishes is a never-ending battle. If I must clean, though, these stripes of color banded with slip stitches help me conquer those dirty pots and pans in no time.

Unused yarn is carried up the side of the cloth, cleverly hidden by a stockinette selvedge. (Please note that only the blue-and-white cloth is pictured with selvedge.)

This pattern is a great scrap buster!

To paraphrase Shakespeare’s Henry V, “From this day to the ending of the world, we in it shall be remembered. We few, we happy few: we band of dishcloths.”
