La Bandana Sendeiros do Caurel es un diseño de crochet inspirado en los paisajes de O Caurel, en Galicia: sus montes cubiertos de vegetación, los caminos irregulares que atraviesan la ladera y la delicadeza inesperada de las orquídeas silvestres que crecen entre la flora del entorno.

El diseño está dividido en tres secciones principales:

Monte, una textura que evoca las copas de los árboles vistas desde arriba, como un manto vegetal cubriendo la ladera.

Sendeiro, un relieve discontinuo inspirada en los caminos del monte, con sus pequeñas irregularidades, piedras, ramitas y cambios de terreno.

Orquídeas, un calado y pequeñas florecillas que recoge la ligereza floral de las orquídeas silvestres escondidas entre el brezo, el tojo y la vegetación.

El resultado es una bandana triangular ligera, con textura y movimiento, perfecta para llevar al cuello, sobre los hombros, en la cadera o como accesorio especial para dar un toque artesanal a cualquier conjunto.

Importante

El consumo de hilo está bastante ajustado. En la muestra original sobraron aproximadamente 1,70 g de una madeja de 400 m / 100 g. Si tu tensión es más floja o tu madeja tiene algo menos de metraje real, es recomendable tener hilo extra o revisar la tensión antes de empezar.

The Sendeiros do Caurel Bandana is a crochet design inspired by the landscapes of O Caurel, in Galicia: its mountains covered in vegetation, the uneven paths that cross the hillside, and the unexpected delicacy of the wild orchids that grow among the local flora. I designed this bandana for Ovillo Fest 2026.

The design is divided into three main sections:

Monte, a textured section that evokes the treetops seen from above, like a blanket of greenery covering the hillside.

Sendeiro, an irregular raised texture inspired by mountain paths, with their small uneven details, stones, twigs, and changes in terrain.

Orquídeas, a lace section with tiny flowers that captures the floral lightness of wild orchids hidden among the heather, gorse, and mountain vegetation.

The result is a light triangular bandana with texture and movement, perfect to wear around the neck, over the shoulders, at the hip, or as a special accessory to add a handmade touch to any outfit.

IMPORTANT

Yarn usage is quite close. In the original sample, approximately 1.70 g remained from a 400 m / 100 g skein. If your tension is looser, or if your skein has slightly less actual meterage, I recommend having extra yarn available or checking your tension carefully before starting.
