These socks combine vertical stranding with simple increases and decreases to create stripes that move on the outside of each foot. The pattern takes place over 6 stitches per round. It’s a perfect project for the days when you just don’t have the bandwidth for something more complex: mostly vanilla knitting with a splash of intrigue to keep you engaged in the process.

Pattern includes Small, Medium, and Large sizes which will result in a 7 (8, 9)”/17.5 (20, 22.5) cm finished circumference when knit at gauge. Choose your size to allow for 1”/2.5 cm negative ease

Yarn needs:
~Main Color: approximately 400 yd (366 m)
~Contrast Color: approximately 20 yd (18 m)
Solids or semi-solids with a lot of contrast will provide the best results.

Sample pair knit in Knitted Wit Victory Sock in Golden Delicious and some leftover Cascade Heritage Sock.
