Bandwidth Tunic from Valley Yarns is a gathered tunic that is adorable on any little girl pairing it with leggings or jeans. Knit in Valley Superwash DK, this sweater is noted for its next-to-the-skin softness and its machine washable, easy care. Bandwidth is worked in the round from the bottom up in two gathered bands for the tunic body, with decrease shaping to create the gathered bands. The picot CO hem edge adds a charming detail. This knitting pattern is suitable for advanced beginner knitters.

Note: Please don’t panic when you see the dramatic circumference of the tunic hem! Decrease shaping narrows it considerably as you work up toward the waist, yielding a skirt that satisfies every little girl’s urge to twirl.
