You’ve seen bunting patterns before, but you’ve never seen one like these! Creative construction means fewer ends to weave in and scraggly ends on the back will be out of site.

This written pattern with full-color photographs includes instructions to make a square-shaped banner. This banner has a lot going for it, including easy to create pieces and a customizable design that allows you to remove and add characters. Make new messages for any event - you’re only limited by the length of your cord.

Recommended Supplies
1,100 yards* worsted weight yarn in White (for banner flags)
(Cotton/Acrylic yarn is pictured but not required)
160 yards* worsted weight yarn in Teal 25 yds, Golden Yellow 25 yds, Coral 36 yds, Blue 36 yds, Lime 25 yds, and Purple 13 ydsetters and trim)
(Cotton/Acrylic yarn is pictured but not required)
Yardage is estimated. Total yardage may vary depending on the motif and your yarn, hook, and tension.
3 yards of 7.9mm white cable cord (or similar cord)
4.00 mm (G) crochet hook
Scissors
Stitch Markers or Safety Pins (to mark stitches)

Gauge
15 sc and 18 rows per 4 inches. Please note that gauge is not crucial to this project: A smaller or larger banner will be just as beautiful. Keep your tension consistent for the flag and its adornment so they fit together nicely.
Finished Size
Individual flags, sewn as instructed, are approximately 5.875” square. The entire banner (including ties) is 9’ wide. Final sizes may vary depending on the motif and your yarn, hook, and tension.
