• Directions are written and charted; if you like working from charts, please email me and I am happy to send you a digital copy of the chart so you can make the chart larger if necessary
• You MUST be able to knit in the round, starting with 8 stitches and increasing to almost 350 sts.
• If you use a different yarn, the blanket may be heavier than mine. Make sure the yarn you choose is lofty but spun so that the stitch definition is clean (that is, a mohair or other fuzzy yarn would not look as nicely as this)
• Sometimes, working in the round, you can be confused on when to do the cabling – I’ve tried to make that easier by have “plain rounds” be the round you’ll work yo increases; cabled rounds, you’ll knit or purl the yo increase from the previous round
• If you would like a bigger blanket, you can continue to increase (by yo’s) every other round and continue the cabled stitches after round 69 – GREAT, just remember to purchase more yarn than stated in the directions.
• The blanket is finished with a broken rib
