Valley Yarns Barachois is the perfect lightweight layering piece with just enough coverage on a cool evening or in an air-conditioned area. This shrug is knit in Montague with fine details such as eyelet lace sleeve and hem borders, and the easy construction makes it work up quickly. Barachois is worked sideways in one piece, with lace details on each side edge. When assembled, the lace details will border the body opening, and the main body is worked in stockinette stitch. The lace patterns are charted and written out.
