Meet the Baranduin Slipover. A cozy and versatile cabled piece inspired by the Brandywine River, the Shire, and its residents.

It’s knit up very quickly in worsted weight yarn on size US 8/5 mm needles.
The perfect layering piece for transitional weather.
The construction is unique and requires almost no finishing, as the motif itself shifts into the edges and creates patterns that blend seamlessly through the piece. The cables run continuously from the cast on edge to the bottom of the back hem.

It is sized for 13 adult chest sizes that range from 29”(74 cm) through 65(165 cm). See the size chart in the photos for more info and exact measurements.

The pattern is size inclusive, and includes additional instructions on how to shape the shoulders for the best fitting drop shoulder on any body type.

It is written with lots of bonus info and instructions to play with the design.
The pattern is 13 pages, including optional worksheets for customization. I have provided yardage calculations for the optional modifications as well. Some of these modification options include a ribbed hem alternative, and instructions for optional sleeves.
