The pattern includes instructions for more than a dozen different spiral dresses but it is much more than that. You could think of it as a tutorial for knitting and crocheting spirals. The techniques can be used for adult and children’s garments, hats, etc. It is a starting point to design your own.

All patterns use small amounts of standard DK yarns. You would have to make some adjustments if you want to use thicker or thinner yarns.

All crochet dresses are in the round. Some knitted dresses are in the round, others are knitted flat.

The photos show all the dresses. Some are knit and some are crochet. You might like to think about why Barbie is wearing a toilet roll tube in one of the photos and why she is standing on her head in another.
