This mini top down raglan is designed to fit IKEA’s Small Djungelskog teddy bear. I was inspired by the Bartholomew Bear hiking outfit by Jellycat.

To knit this sweater you will need to know how to knit a 1x1 rib, cast on, cast off, knit with 2 colors, carry your floats, and make 1 right and left.

My finished sweater weighs exactly 50g. I used bits of scrap yarn in light worsted and DK and my best guess is that the dark green used a full 25g and the other colors used less?

Finished measurements when laying flat after blocking:

  • Neckline (any wider and it will slip off the bear): 6.5” (16.5 cm)
  • Length (top of neckline to bottom ribbing): 6” (15 cm)
  • Arm Length (top of neckline to bottom ribbing): 4” (10 cm)
  • Body Width (no arms): 8.25” (21 cm)
  • Arm Width (at ribbing): 3.75” (9.5 cm)

This pattern is free and has not been test knit.

I’ve included the basic motif patterns if you wish to use them on your own design. :)
