with Biscotte Yarns, this version features an additional lace
row that adds depth and movement to the signature “branches”
of the design.
This shawl is worked from the top down starting with a garter tab,
growing into a shallow triangle that balances the meditative
rhythm of stockinette with a sophisticated lace border. It is a faster
knit with a luxurious, warm drape—perfect for showcasing the
artistry of hand-dyed fibers.

Light blocking: 215 cm (85”) x 66 cm (26”).
Aggressive blocking: 204 cm (80,3”) x 72 cm (28,3”).
You can size the shawl up or down by working
more or fewer repetitions of rows 1 to 8. Make sure your stitch count is a multiple of 11+6 before starting the lace border.(Note: Gauge is not critical, but will affect final size and yarn usage).

Le châle Bare Trees DK est une version somptueuse et douillette
d’un grand classique. Réinterprété en fil de grosseur DK, en
collaboration avec Les Laines Biscotte, ce modèle comporte un
rang de dentelle supplémentaire qui apporte de la profondeur et
du mouvement aux « branches » emblématiques du motif.
Ce châle se tricote de haut en bas, en commençant par un «garter tab » au point mousse, puis en formant un triangle peu
profond qui équilibre le rythme méditatif du point jersey avec une
bordure en dentelle sophistiquée. Il se tricote rapidement et offre
un tombé luxueux et chaud, parfait pour mettre en valeur le
savoir-faire artistique des fibres teintes à la main.
