Two patterns for women’s barefoot sandals, quick and easy to knit! One in a V shape, flattering to the leg, with ties that you can fix at the back or cross at the back and tie at the front. The other has more coverage and a lacy triangle which ties at the back. Make them for beach weddings, to take on holiday, or as gifts. Embellish them with beads, buttons or bells – or leave them unadorned and let the yarn shine through. Because they are simple and have long ties, it doesn’t matter what size foot you are knitting for – so you can make these as gifts and not worry about sizing!

Check your ball band for washing instructions, particularly if you intend to wear your sandals where they are likely to get dirty fast. I recommend washing by hand anyway unless you can get your hands on one of those mesh laundry bags designed for small items.
