Excerpt from Bargello Knits:

If I could do socks with short color change yarns, what about the long color changes? At least there would be fewer segments, and lots of yarns to choose from.

Pattern notes
The cast on and ribbing are worked in the round for continuity of color. The leg is worked in a modified flat manner on dpns: back and forth but the piece will not lay flat since the ribbing is worked in the round. Waste yarn is applied at selvedges to allow for a linked seam. The heel flap is centered across one bargello segment, not across the break between two segments. Linked seam is located at side/back of leg.
