Barði socks and mitts are a simple and neat design enhanced by an efficient little trick: the short purl. The socks are knitted from the top down with a reverse Stocking stitch panel that runs down the front of the sock and is decorated with a cable motif, reminding of the volutes of the Katla volcano’s eruption. The socks feature Halldóra‘s heels (also known as German square heels). The matching mitts are a good way to use your leftovers.

They are knitted with Katla Sokkaband, a soft Icelandic DK weight yarn (primeur exclusive to the Club).
